Colorado in the fall is an incredibly breathtaking place, and Pine Ridge is the perfect staging ground to enjoy the Rockies and this amazing season.  Just driving up I-70 from the Denver area on your way to Breckenridge is an experience of its own. Viewing beautiful mountains covered in color-changing aspens is truly awe-inspiring.  Watching bighorn sheep, which are best viewed in the autumn months, is also an unforgettable experience.  Anyone who appreciates the beauty of seasonal renewal should plan a Colorado vacation in the fall.

In Breckenridge, fall kicks off with the annual Oktoberfest celebration September 16-18, 2011.  The quieter fall season is also time to see town as the locals love it – smaller crowds, 2-for-1 dining and end-of-season sales.  Days are still warm, but the evenings turn crisp enough to truly enjoy the cozy fireplace in each Pine Ridge condominium.
