It’s also a refreshing change from summertime most parts of the country – mild tempuratures, no humidity and no bugs! Pine Ridge turns to summer mode with abundant trees throughout the property, green lawns and plenty of gas grills and picnic tables. The ski run turns into an easy hiking or mountain biking trail, with a lush wetland along the trail. And with a great central location, walking around town is even easier.

Peak 8 Fun Park

Drop off your children (2 months – 5 years) for fun activities, snacks and lunch weekdays 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Ride the slalom course or try the steeper giant slalom track with multiple dips for the more experienced rider. The sleds will seat an adult and a small child.
- Mineshaft Maze
Get lost in the twists and turns of Colorado’s largest human maze.
- Scenic Chairlift Rides
Take the free BreckConnect Gondola from town to Peak 8. Then Ride to 11,059 ft. on the Colorado Superchair for easy access to hiking and picturesque views of the Continental Divide.

Sensational Rocky Mountain scenery and that famous Colorado sunshine make an irresistible combination for mountain biking. Breckenridge Ski Resort offers a wide network of trails for varying levels of difficulty with the convenience of lift access on Peak 8 via the Colorado Superchair.
Trail maps and bike rentals are available at numerous shops around town; many also offer transportation up Vail pass for guests to ride down or to the Lake Dillon trail system.
The Breckenridge skate park is located outdoors at the Breckenridge Recreation Center. Town law requires proper protective gear including a helmet.
Breckenridge Ice Rink
Open year-round for public skating, hockey and figure skating activities including summer skating programs and camps. Skate rental, skate sharpening, four changing rooms, restrooms and retail sales.
